Awana Club is an internationally known Bible club for children ages 3 through 6th grade: (Cubbies Ages 3-5, Sparks: Grades K-2, and T&T: Grades 3-6). We require 3 year-olds to be potty-trained.

The letters in AWANA stand for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, which comes from 2 Timothy 2:15.

The program is designed to encourage children to memorize scripture. During each Awana meeting, we will teach the children that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through His Son, Jesus Christ. Children will also learn how God can help them in their daily lives. Bible-based lessons will teach them how to obey God in a complex world.
The goal of Awana is to give boys and girls the chance to know, love, and serve God.
The club consists of a weekly lesson, awards for scripture memory, and lots of FUN.

Registration for the Awana 2023-2024 School Year is open!

Every Friday beginning September 8th through the school year. Unless otherwise noted, Awana will follow the PSCSB Holiday schedule. Registration is from 6:15pm – 6:30pm and pickup is at 8:30pm.

There is a $50 annual registration fee per child (this can be paid in two payments $25 at start date and $25 in January 2023 at the start of 2nd semester). It is the same fee for all clubbers (even if the clubber is returning with the same uniform) since it covers all costs incurred throughout the year such as handbooks, awards, snacks, and the AWANA store. Every child that does not already have a uniform will be provided one (without an additional cost).

Please make your check payable to “Faith Fellowship of St Petersburg” and write “AWANA” in the memo line. Paying by cash or setting up payment arrangements are also an option.

There is some scholarship funding available. We want every child to have the opportunity to participate regardless of finances. Please talk to Mrs. Sheba to request a scholarship. The Director and church leadership will prayerfully review each request.
