Matthew 5:14-16, “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”
Most women have friends, but they do not have “real”ationships; other women whom one can truly be “real” with and still feel accepted by them. The goal of the Women’s L.I.G.H.T. (Living In God’s Hands Together) Ministry is to encourage women to become exactly who God created them to be through real-ationships and by living out L.I.G.H.T.! The greatest bond in a real-ationship is Jesus. Jesus desires to have a relationship with us and ultimately our goal is to be a reflection of him. As we share our lives with others, our relationship with Jesus grows deeper. We have the opportunity to build “real”-ationships with each other through a variety of opportunities. We’re excited to hear about your ideas for Bible study and other ways to build “real”-ationships with God and each other.

A word from Lisette
When I was a young wife and mom the Lord imparted so much to me through the guidance of older women. As I matured the Lord he gave me a heart to share life with other women. This passion bloomed in to Women’s Ministry during my time doing the Discipleship Essentials Study. I was ready to obey but I didn’t know what it would look like. I desired another woman to share in this ministry. One night as our Discipleship Essentials group met Colette revealed the Lord was laying on her heart to start a Women’s Ministry. And whallah the “Ette” sisters have been “Living In God’s Hands Together” ever since!
Titus 2:3-5, “Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, 4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. “
